Error 52 when printing or accessing the DMS

Symptoms

When printing or accessing the DMS, an access error occurs:

• Error 52: Incorrect file name or number
• File not found

Causes

The application is unable to access a shared directory via SMB

Solution

• Run the "Run" command (Win + R key)
• Type "gpedit.msc" to open the "Local Group Policy Editor"

• Disable the "Digitally sign communications (always)" option
